Devcon's roots are in the development, construction & management of several hundred units of HUD-subsidized Section 8 Housing and the development and acquisition of over 2,000,000 s/f of office, retail and grocery-anchored shopping centers throughout New England and Florida. Over the last several years Devcon Development has acquired, permitted and sold thousands of acres of land in Florida. Successfully obtaining entitlements for six master planned communities, including a 10 lot equestrian compound and five others comprised of over 2000 acres, 4000 residential units and 500,000 square feet of commercial space. Additionally, Devcon Development was the first company in the country to introduce fractional ownership residences at private golf communities through its subsidiary Private Quarters Club.
