Before starting Devcon Enterprises, Inc. in 1976, Anthony T. Bianca and Roland G. LaBonte directed the development and construction of over 2,400 units, spread across 15 separate multi-family properties for Konover & Associates of West Hartford, CT.
Anthony T. Bianca
Mr. Bianca co-founded Devcon Enterprises, Inc. where he directed new business development, site selection and government affairs before retiring in 1990. Before starting Devcon, Mr. Bianca had a long career in real estate beginning with Bianca Realty, SAN Land Development, ATB Construction and was a partner with Konover & Associates where he directed the development of thousands of units of affordable housing throughout the Northeast. Mr. Bianca attended Hillyer College, Hartford, CT and was a proud veteran, serving during WWII as Staff Sargeant U.S. Army – 87th Infantry, 345th Regiment, European Theater of Operations - Battle of the Bulge. Mr. Biance received Combat Infantry Badge, Purple Heart, Army Presidential Unit Citation and the Bronze Star for Heroic and Meritorious Achievement.
Roland G. LaBonte
Mr. LaBonte co-founded Devcon Enterprises, Inc. in 1976, quickly building a vertically integrated real estate company, with property development, construction and management capabilities. His responsibilities included overseeing all facets of company operations and project development and construction activities. Under Mr. LaBonte's direction, Devcon quickly became one of the most successful affordable housing development companies in New England. Mr. LaBonte has developed and built several thousand multi-family units and nearly two million square feet of commercial real estate since. Before beginning his own companies, Mr. LaBonte was Director of Residential Housing Development with Konover & Associates of West Hartford overseeing the development and construction of thousands of affordable housing units throughout New England. He is a graduate of the University of New Brunswick in Canada.
Scott A. LaBonte
Scott LaBonte started his career at Devcon Enterprises, Inc. in 1991 as Director of Leasing where he oversaw the leasing efforts for the company's portfolio of office and retail properties. He later became Vice President & COO managing the company-wide operations and directing the development, construction and acquisition of over 2,000,000 s/f of commercial properties throughout New England and Florida. Further responsibilities included property and asset management, financing and disposition of Devcon's portfolio of properties. In 2004, Mr. LaBonte acquired the company becoming President & CEO . Scott is a graduate of Springfield College in Springfield, MA.
Chad P. LaBonte
With more than 25 years of experience in real estate development, Chad LaBonte is presently the President of Devcon Development. In addition to his role of overseeing the operations of the company, Chad focuses on identifying investment opportunities and the development, planning, design, engineering & construction activites related to obtaining approvals and entitlements for the company and its client’s and partner’s holdings. Formerly, Mr. LaBonte served as Executive Vice President for Devcon Enterprises and was responsible for the company’s marketing and new business development. Additionally, Mr. LaBonte serves as an advisor for EagleBridge Capital, a commercial real estate finance intermediary with offices in Boston, MA and Stamford, CT. Mr. LaBonte graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Union College in New York.
